At the initial part of the video clip, Tony Kakkar walked into a toy store and bought a whole bunch of presents as ‘Tony ban gaya mama (Tony is now an uncle)’ played in the background, to the tune of Tony’s song Kurta Pyjama. Later, the clip transitioned to husband Rohanpreet getting a call from his mother, who was appeared upset about buried.

Subsequently, she asked her son to ensure that Neha eats well and warned him about pregnancy mood swings, even as he tried to tell her something. This was interspersed with shots of Neha coming out with a pregnancy test and hugging Rohanpreet tightly.

Meanwhile, the text on the screen highlighted that the Kakkar family members would shed light on whether whatever was depicted so far was true or not. Tony started saying that he is the youngest in the family and now wants someone younger than him. To this, he was interrupted by Neha, who called him a liar and claimed that he was older than her. Moreover, their mother then came into the frame and confirmed that Neha was indeed the youngest in the family.

Neha also opened up about when she was travelling recently, a flight attendant asked her if she was pregnant. Whereas, Tony added that he went to a cafe and he was asked by the waiter, “Sir, aap mama banne wale ho (are you going to become an uncle)?”

To this, Rohanpreet said that Neha’s ‘tond (paunch)’ was because of their love, the family’s love and delicious food. However, the duo denied the buzz of her pregnancy and Rohanpreet said that there was a ‘baby’ that was born – their show Life of Kakkars.

Neha said that she and Rohanpreet have no plans to have a baby for the next two or three years at least. Moreover, Rohanpreet stated, “Hum dono ne bohot hi masti karni hai, bohot hi enjoy karna hai, bohot hi fun karna hai (We still have a lot to enjoy and have fun),” while Neha said that there were several projects to finish as well.

Talking about the first one, “Dil Galti Kar Baitha Hai” is presented by Bhushan Kumar and is sung by Jubin Nautiyal. Re-written by Manoj Muntashir, the Sufi vocals are given by Danish Sabri. The video features Mouni Roy, Meet Bros, Gurmeet Choudhary, Himansh Kohli, Karishma Sharma and Altmash Faraz. 

The second one is a DJ Chetas creation of ‘Bol Kaffara’ and ‘Dulhe Ka Sehra’. Sung by Neha Kakkar, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Farhan Sabri, this song is an official adaptation of the original tracks. This song is more on the qawwali side unlike Jubins’ which was a party one. Neha’s song though is just a lyrical release.

Let’s talk about what went wrong with these versions. The most highlighted one is the music label. T Series being the world’s most subscribed channel definitely gathers more eyeballs whether people may like the song or not. This aspect truly worked for Jubin’s version, giving them over 50 million views in just five days whereas Neha’s version could only manage to get five million. Even when Neha Kakkar is India’s most-followed musician, this promising track failed on Neha’s side.

Today, the show started with housemates dancing to the tunes of Ganesh Chaturthi. Aashika Bhatia and Akshay Kakkar then joined Karan Johar on the show to promote MxTakatak and they made housemates recreate the hook step of popular ‘Bole Chudiyan’. As they left, Neha and Tony Kakkar graced the stage.

Their latest song Kanta Laga was turned into an activity for the housemates where they had to point out people who have pricked them in this BB journey. Housemates also shook a leg on the ‘Kanta Laga’ hook-step. With them signing off, Karan Johar announced the eviction.

For this week, the decision to save or evict was in the hands of housemates themselves. Amongst the unsafe two, Neha and Muskan, housemates chose to let go of Muskan Jattana and keep Neha Bhasin in the house. Moving ahead, Varun Sood was introduced to go ahead and meet Divya Agarwal in the house.

Before Varun took his turn, Rashami Desai and Devoleena Bhattacharjee entered the house to grill the housemates with their ‘Devoshmi OTT Show’. In yesterday’s 24*7 broadcast, a punishment task was announced where housemates had to mutually choose two punishable contestants on the basis of the last five weeks. Like every other time, Divya Agarwal was targeted again and she took her stand in a rebellious manner.

When the house mutually couldn’t choose anyone, Bigg Boss made it a decision of maximum votes. Hence, Divya and Muskan were chosen as the culprits. Bigg Boss also asked for the name of the two best players where Nishant and Pratik were voted amongst their group members. Expectedly, no one else took any stand for themselves.

Today, In ‘Sunday ka Vaar’, Neha Kakkar and Tony Kakkar will be seen promoting their recent release ‘Kanta Laga’. Bigg Boss will then give Divya a surprise by calling in Varun Sood, her boyfriend. To enter the house as guests, Bigg Boss 13 fame Rashami Desai and Devoleena Bhattacharjee are lined up. Aashika Bhatia and Akshay Kakkar are also rumoured to appear and promote ‘MxTakatak’.

Presented by Anshul Garg, written and composed by Tony Kakkar, this party song is directed by Mihir Gulati. A major brownie point goes to the set designers and creatives for literally raising a level up for upcoming makers. The set-up looks grand, fascinating and absolutely exposed well in this video. The DOP also deserves a bow, as best of all happening, is captured wisely and is outshining.

The lyrics aren’t as great as all other Tony Kakkar’s songs. His repeating word format is here too but now the audiences are used to it. The part that Yo Yo Honey Singh has, is much better than the rest of the song. He has himself written that rap, along with inputs from Lil Golu and Hommie Dilliwala.

The song is based on the original lyrics of Lata Mangeshkar’s Kanta Laga but is not an official adaptation as everything else is different. Tony and Neha sing, “Raja Tere Mahal Ke Peeche *4, Haanji Tere Tere Bagheeche Neeche Neeche Kyon, Kanta Laga.. Ooi maa”. The lighting and costumes are too absolutely stealing the show.

Coming back to the star of the whole video, Neha Kakkar’s look. Neha has totally taken an international trip and we can’t keep calm. She gives us a Nicki and Cardi feel and throughout the video, looks absolutely stunning and over the top. A collaborative project of Bobby Suri and Anshul Garg, the song shall definitely take the trending charts soon. Watch out for yourself :

• ‘Why Sanmukha Priya?’ : One of the contestants named Sanmukha Priya has been thoroughly trolled for having an unwanted advantage of being on the show. Music lovers were vocal about her monotonous way of ruining songs and also her repeated presence on multiple reality shows.
• ‘Celebrities calling off the show’: Singers like Sunidhi Chauhan and Kishor Kumar’s son Amit Kumar blamed the makers who compelled them to speak good of all contestants irrespective of their bad singing.
• ‘Series of fake love and poverty stories’: After the show went trp high post ‘Arunita-Pawandeep’ love angle, the show was indirectly exposed by Arunita when she indirectly claimed it false while saying, “Bohot chize hasi-mazaak ke liye hoti hai” and Pawandeep too agreed to this. Indian Idol Season 1 winner, Abhijeet Sawant criticized the show for promoting fake poverty stories for TRP over promoting real singing talents.
• ‘Constant changes in anchor and judges’: The judging seat was replaced multiple times after Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani left the chair. Manoj Muntashir, Sonu Kakkar, and Anu Malik were seen filling the dots whereas to hold the mike Bharti, Jay, Ritvik, and Harsh were seen hosting other than Aditya Narayan. What a consistent contract!

Pawandeep Rajan was declared the winner of this season LIVE midnight, along with Arunita Kanjilal and Sayli Kamble ending up as the runner-ups.

Even after multiple criticisms over the last few weeks of this season, the show delivered its mettle by impressing the audiences in their grand finale episode.

Being hosted by Jay Bhanushali and Aditya Narayan, the episode had its current judges Anu Malik, Himesh Reshammiya, and Sonu Kakkar seen performing too.

In the guest appearances, Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani were seen promoting their recent release ‘Shershaah’ whereas Disha Parmar and Nakul Mehta came to grace the show with their most awaited ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hai 2’.

Cheering the contestants, on the list were too, accomplished singers like Javed Ali, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, and Sukhvinder Singh.

As expressed by the makers, Indian Idol Season 12 could have easily stretched for few more months as the ratings proved that people were still hooked to this season after multiple extensions.
