Since its release on the OTT platform, the film literally became the talking point on social media. The film has received mixed reviews from the netizens, while some have been extremely harsh on the film, some have a lot of praises to shower on it. However, for the most part, the reviews from the critics have been positive. a Lot of the critics have hailed the performances of the lead star cast, while some did criticise the film equating it with “Soft porn” with an absurd and very lose plot.

The latest review was by none other than the Queen Kangana Ranaut. Ms Ranaut who never minces her words, took to her social media and bashed the film left, right and centre. Even though she didn’t take the name of the film, it was quite clear that she was talking about Gehraiyaan which is produced by Dharma Productions. She shared a clip of a superhit old song, “chaand Si Mehbooba” that starred Manoj Kumar and Mala Sinha in it and wrote a long note. “I am also a millennial but I identify and understand this kind of romance … in the name of millenial, new age urban movies don’t sell trash pls … bad movies are bad movies, no amount of skin show or pornography can save it … it’s a basic fact koi gehraiyaan waali baat nahi hai 😉 ”

In June 2020, the actor was accused of raping and assaulting 4 women. He is also charged of 21 alleged victims between the ages of 15 and 51, said Los Angeles county prosecutor George Gascon on Wednesday. George said that these are charges since 1996.

This 68 years old X-Rated star who has appeared in films like, “Deep Throat II” and “John Wayne Bobbitt Uncut” was considered innocent on Twitter by himself when he denied all the charges that he was accused of.

“Ron — over the years, because of who he is — has essentially been a paramour to over 4,000 women. And to allege that he is a rapist is beyond… I mean, women throw themselves at him,” said Stuart Goldfarb adding to it that his client is not a rapist.
