Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar, and Kuldeep Rathore, the film is directed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu.

‘HIT – The First Case’ is a remake of a 2020 released Telugu film, that tells the story of a cop who is on the trail of a missing woman. The original version was written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu himself. It starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in lead roles and was a profitable venture at the box office.

Today, present at ‘Mahurat Pooja’ were actor Rajkummar Rao, producers Dil Raju, Bhushan Kumar, Kuldeep Rathore, and director Dr Sailesh Kolanu. On the professional front, Rajkumar will be next seen in ‘Badhai Do’, ‘Hum Do Hamare Do’ and ‘Monica O My Darling’. Sanya, whereas will be seen in ‘Meenakshi Sundereshwar’ and ‘Love Hostel’.

There are rumours that Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor will now be seen together in Sharan’s next film.
The film is said to be a fictional story set against the backdrop of cricket and will be released by year-end.

The untitled film will be produced by none other than Karan Johar. “Sharan has been planning to make a film on this story for a while now and is now all ready to take it on floors. Both Rajkumar and Janhvi will be seen as cricketers in the film and will be training to learn the sport later this year. It’s a fictional tale loaded with emotions and feel-good elements,” revealed a source close to the production team. This will be the second time that Rajkumar and Janhvi will reunite together on the silver screen. Apart from this untitled film, the two were seen together in a 2021 comedy/horror film ‘Roohi’.

The entire team is now joining forces for the creation of the film. Before the film starts, Janhvi will finish up shooting for her father, Boney Kapoor’s production, Helen, which will be released soon this year.
Rajkumar Rao is one of the busiest bees in Bollywood. He has more than half a dozen films to wrap up. On the work front, he has already wrapped up shooting for the Abhishek Jain-directed, Hum Do Hamare Do and the Badhaai Ho sequel, Badhaai Do, and he will soon commence work on the official remake of the Telugu film, Hit.

As per sources, both Janhvi and Rajkumar are excited to team up together. Meanwhile, Karan Johar’s directorial movie Rock Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will be released in 2022 starring Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in key roles.
