Almost every day there were negative posts about her on social media proclaiming that she was responsible for the actor’s death and now she will never be or rather should never be allowed to revive her acting career. Rhea remained silent and she didn’t retaliate, however last year she was granted bail and that is when she once again started posting pictures of herself on social media. Having said that the actress continues to maintain a very low profile lest any other controversy erupts. It was on Saturday that Rhea shared a story on her Instagram handle which showed her resuming work after 2 years.

In the picture one can see her dressed in a stylish black pantsuit, donning a headphone with a microphone at a radio station. She wrote, “Yesterday, I went to work after 2 years. A big thankyou to all the people who stood by me through my toughest times. No matter what , the sun always shines NEVER GIVE UP! #rhenew #gratitude”

Well, no sooner did the photo go viral, the comments and taunts from netizens started pouring in. Well, yes! There were many who made fun of her brother’s ailment. While some said that he deserves it, some said, this is just the beginning and that this is just their karma getting back at them because they are responsible for Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

Well, from the photos it seemed as though, Showik’s leg was badly injured and just like a normal sister. Rhea was seen helping her brother get into the car. Take a look at some of the comments from fans of the late Sushant Singh Rajput. ““Jaisi Karni vaisi Bharni abhi to shuruaat hai,”. while another one wrote, “Sushant sir k gunhgaro tumlog chin se nhi rah paoge it’s ur karma.”

For the uninitiated, Rhea Chakraborty and her brother were suspects involved behind the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput. Rajput’s body was found in his apartment and there was a huge media trail thereafter and Rhea and her entier family had to bear the heat and now the actress is out on bail.

Her latest film out was the thriller Chehre that also starred Emraan Hashmi, Amitabh Bachchan, Annu Kapoor.

The CBI, the Enforcement Directorate and NCB were constantly questioning Rhea and she was also sent to judicial custody of 14 days. But now, Rhea is gradually limping towards normalcy and has also been visiting sets for shoots. She is often click by the paparazzi around town.

Just a few days ago Rhea was spotted at a studio in Andheri (a Mumbai suburb) where along with her other B igg Boss contestants were also present. That is how the rumours of her being part of the reality show Bigg Boss 15 sparked off. And do you know what the latest is? Well, Rhea was surely offered the show and she was also being offered a whopping sum of Rs 35 lakhs per episode. Well yes, according to an ETimes report, Rhea Chakraborty was indeed offered to be part of the show and she was also being given a huge sum of Rs 35 Lakhs per episode but she turned down the offer.

It seems that the makers might have really been very pushy so that they could encash on the whole Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty story on national TV but unfortunately all their hopes surely came crashing down as Rhea Chakraborty denied to be part of the show.

Bigg Boss 15 will premiere on TV from 2^nd October, 2021.

It was not clear if Rhea will be a housemate or she will perform on the opening night was it just a coincidence that she was at the studio at the same time as Prakash and Kaur, who may perform in the first episode.

Reports also suggest that the Chekre actress has been offered a whopping Rs 35 lakh per week participating in the show. However, nothing is confirmed as of now.

Late Sidharth Shukla, who emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 13 was reportedly paid around Rs 35-40 lakh for a two-week stay inside the show. Rashami Desai, too, was paid a handsome amount of money.

The 15^th season of the controversial reality shows Bigg Boss is all set to kick off on October featuring celebrities is at an all-time high. While some names like Shamita Shetty, Nishant Bhat, Donal Bisht and Pratik Sehajpal have been confirmed already, the full list of contestants for the season is yet to be revealed. From Karan Kundra to Nidhi Bhanushali, several celebrity names have cropped up as the probable BB contestants of the show this year.

With a cast that has an amazing acting experience and face value, the film makers could have made the movie a lot better. The film opens up on a promising note with the dark and subtle look, but as the scenes pass things start becoming monotonous. Once after the film takes up its routine, it becomes tough for the topnotch actors Amitabh Bachchan, Emhraan Hashmi and Anu Kapoor to lift the story with their acting skills.

However the best part of the film is that it would let all enjoy the hindi literature, as it has too many shayris in the film. Moreover there is a 7 minutes long monologue by Big B which touches all the important topics from the Nirbhaya rape case and the plight of acid attack victims to the Uri surgical strikes and Indo-Pak tensions. For this the actor is appreciated and loved by audiences and critics.

The look of the film is good and the presentation of actors are A Class with the sequences between Bacchan and Hashmi. The punjabi accent and hints of Anu Kapoor has vibed well with the scenes and debt actress Krystal D’Souza has showed that she was not a wrong choice.

Before the film released Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, “T 4009 – Had a great time discussing the memories from the sets of #Chehre! Waiting for you to watch the film on 27th August in theatres with your friends and family”

Today before the film released, Emhraan Hashmi along with a poster of the film tweeted, “#Chehre releasing worldwide from today !!!”
With a bag of mixed reviews Twitter is calling for a room of disagreement on how the movie actually is.

Film Critic Sumit Kadel gave the film 3 stars and tweeted, “Despite a superb star cast,film fails miserably to provide edge of the seat thrills. First half is decent but stretched & over dramatic 2nd half, specially the climax plays the villian in chehre. Intriguing script & screenplay could’ve saved the film from sinking.” He gave, 1.5 stars to Direction, Music and Story of the film and 3.5 to acting and cinematography. And ended the review with 2 points to dialogues.

On the other hand, film Critic Taran Adarsh, wrote, “#OneWordReview… #CHEHRE: ENGROSSING. Rating: ½ Captivating screenplay + wonderful performances by the principal cast makes #Chehre an interesting watch… Director #RumyJafry – associated with comedies – springs a pleasant surprise with a dramatic thriller. #ChehreReview”

After the disagreement of reviews, the film cannot be called a courtroom thriller as it is no way close to Bachchan’s film “Pink” but it can be called an attempt by Rumi Jafry.

Rhea Chakraborty shared a picture of her with brother on her story with a small note which says, ‘Happy Rakshabandhan Showikk’ followed by a heart emoji. In the picture, the Jalebi actress is seen in her white kurti and yellow dupatta. Whereas her brother Showikk in a black traditional outfit.

Last month on the actress’s birthday, brother Showikk posted a few pictures of the two holding hands and he has captioned it as, “You are the world to me. I actually don’t have words to explain what you mean to me, because how does one explain everything? You’ve taught me how to smile, to love, to spread happiness…I aspire to be like you. You are the epitome of strength and courage. I will always have your back as you have mine and I promise to protect you forever.. Happy birthday my choco, you deserve nothing but indefinite happiness and love..” This shows the beautiful bond between the two.

In a new Instagram story, Rhea shared a note which said, “We live in the Kalyug, it’s the time when humanity will be challenged and human values will be given ample opportunity to collapse. We need to come together, find love and compassion in our hearts and hold on to those human values we were taught as children. It’s the only way to live through these dark times. So hold on tight to your families and loved ones… because love truly conquers all.”

As for upcoming projects, Rhea will soon be seen in Chehre starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi as the protagonists. Rhea was boycotted from the films last year after the death of her then-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. 

Sushant’s family accused her of misappropriation of his funds and abetting his suicide. Afterwards, Rhea Chakraborty denied all allegations and filed a countersuit against the family.

Rumy Jafry, director of Chehre, in a recent interview, said if the film had been released last year it would have been affected by the controversy. He further said that the public’s opinions about Rhea have changed in recent times: “Everyone knows what a furore the media caused with the whole Sushant Singh Rajput case and Rhea’s arrest. Last year, she was a witch, a golddigger and whatnot; this year she was declared the ‘most desirable woman.’ This shows there has been a change in the perception of people,” said Rumy to a news portal.
