In an interaction with a leading daily, Rubina confirmed the news and stated that she is very motivated to be part of the show and overcome the obstacles because personally, she faced a lot many in her personal life too, “I have endured many obstacles in life that have made me stronger, and I am very motivated and excited to be on Khatron Ke Khiladi. I am confident that with Rohit Shetty sir’s guidance, I will be able to achieve more than I have set for myself. Much love to all my fans and I want them to support me in this new endeavour,” quipped she.

There are any speculations about the other celebrities who are going to be part of the Rohit Shetty led reality TV show that airs on Colors. Some of them are Munawar Faruqui, Rakhi Sawant, Bigg Boss contestant Rajiv Adatia, TV actors Sriti Jha, Shivangi Joshi, Nishant Bhat, Pratik Sehajpal, Erica Fernandes, Pavitra Punia so on and so forth.

If media reports are to be believed, the new season of the action-reality show will roll out int the end of May 2022and all the contestants will fly to South Africa for the shoot. Reportedly, this time Salman Khan is charging Rs. 350 crores for 14 weeks of hosting, which is allegedly the highest amount ever paid to any Indian Television host in history. Karan Johar kicked off the episode grilling Akshara Singh after a session called ‘Janta Ka Sawaal’ initiated. Akshara’s comment on Neha about opening legs took a great screen time. The other few housemates on the radar today were Divya Agarwal, Pratik Sehajpal and Shamita Shetty.

The other task today was ‘Galat Fehmi Ke Gubbare’ where after the task Shamita and Nishant had a big brawl. Sidharth’s Dil Se Dil Tak co-star and fellow Bigg Boss contestant and rival Rashami Desai is extremely upset with the untimely death of this successful actor, expressing her grief the actress shared on social media by sharing a broken heart emoji. Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee tweeted, “I am just Numb… Why Sid? Too soon… May your soul rest in peace my friend. #SiddharthShukla.”

The official Twitter handle of Bigg Boss expressed the grief on Sidharth Shukla’s demise with a moving note. “Some people come into our lives and leave footprints. What we have once loved can never be lost. With a heavy heart and moist eyes, we bid goodbye, You’ll be a part of us, always, forever and more. Sid, you’ll be missed. #RIP #SidharthShukla.”

Shefali Bagga, who stayed with the late actor, in the bigg boss house shared a series of pictures with him, there she wrote, “I am still shocked. I have no words. I seriously can’t believe that Siddharth Shukla is no more. Om Shanti.”

Superstar Akshay Kumar spoke up on the demise of Sidharth Shukla. He tweeted, “Really sad to know about the passing away of #SiddharthShukla. I didn’t know him personally but it’s heartbreaking to know of such a talented life gone so soon. Om Shanti.”

Bigg Boss 13 runner-up Asim Riaz shared a great bond with Sidharth for few days and times turned and the too became rivals but the friendship remained great after the show hearing this he rushed to the hospital to support his family and bid him bye. Choreographer-director Farah Khan expressed shock and grief over Sidharth Shukla’s death by tweeting, “Can this year get any worse? Shocked and extremely saddened to hear about @sidharth_shukla’s demise. My heart goes out to his family.” Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar tweeted, “Shocking News about actor #SiddharthShukla’s demise. Such a hard-working and talented actor gone too soon. My heartfelt condolences and prayers for his family and dear ones.

Music Composer Palaash Muchhal, who turns writer-director with Ardh, commenced shooting the film in Mumbai today. ‘Ardh’ is about the struggle of an actor in a city like Mumbai. The film will showcase the experiences of my 15 years journey,” Muchhal said in a statement.

The film also starring Rajpal Yadav, Hiten Tejwani and Kulbhushan Kharbanda will have an OTT release in early 2022. As per reports, the film will see Rajpal Yadav play a transgender character who comes to Mumbai to become a hero. While Rubina’s character becomes his support in the new city, Hiten will play his best friend.

Veteran actor and ‘Mirzapur’ star Kharbanda revealed he is playing a small yet powerful role in ‘Ardh’. Hiten Tejwani, best known for soap operas “Kutumb” and “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi”, said he is thrilled to be teaming up with Muchhal. “Palash is a young filmmaker and his energy is amazing. We as actors always want to play different characters and to work with young filmmakers like him is fun,” he said.

Interestingly, director Palaash has shelved Rubina in this role after auditioning over 50 girls and if the poster is to be decoded, Rubina is either playing the role of a transgender or a sex worker. Rajpal Yadav described “Ardh” as a concept-driven film. “I am very happy to be a part of this film and I am really proud of Palash. The show will be hosted by none other than Karan Johar. The show is all set to premiere tonight (August 08), on Voot. It is the opening to the new season of Bigg Boss 15, the digital version will stream for six weeks and the top contenders will have a chance to be on Salman Khan’s reality show.
