The movie starring Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah is set to start shooting by September, we’ve learned the movie is titled ‘Jalsa’ and it’s written by Suresh Triveni along with multiple writers. Vidya was last seen in her recent wildlife drama ‘Sherni’. Back in May, Peepingmoon revealed in an exclusive interview that Vidya Balan would be working with the producer Vikram Malhotra of Abundantia Entertainment.

The film’s story is about the class differences in society and the actresses Vidya and Shefali will be seen playing central roles from different backgrounds.

The director of the film ‘Jalsa’ has already started the pre-production and is waiting for Shefali’s dates for shooting timeline, meanwhile Vidya Balan is taking a short break before she gets back on the sets. Shefali and Vidya both are busy with their other films and will be finishing off before shooting for ‘Jalsa’
