Report in BollywoodLife suggests that Shehnaaz and Sidharth were engaged and planning to tie the knot by the end of this year in December. The two families were preparing for the film in full joy. The reports read, “They had informed their families who were deep into preparations. Not just this, they were also in talks with a plush Mumbai hotel to book rooms, banquet and other services for the wedding festivities which were planned for a period of three days. The two actors, their friends, and families had kept this a closely guarded secret.”

In an interview with ETimes, Abu Malik the former participant of bigg boss said, “Shehnaaz told me this on March 22, 2020 – I think that this was just a day before the first lockdown.” The music composer had stayed with Shehnaz and Sidharth under the same roof in bigg boss and knew them really well, he also added, “Sidharth used to love her a lot. He would say that agar ek din woh naaraz ho jaati thi, toh uska din kharaab ho jaata tha.”

I met her brother, Shehbaaz who is thankfully there for and with her in this grim hour. He will take good care of Shehnaaz, I am sure.”

ANI’s official Twitter handle confirmed that the actor is no more, adding to it they said, “No injuries were sustained on the body of actor Siddharth Shukla. The cause of the death is yet to be ascertained. A team of police is present at the Shukla’s residence for investigation: Mumbai Police.”

Lately reports are stating that Shukla’s neighbors have confirmed that when the actor returned home last after the shoot, the glass at the back of his car was smashed. The police are believed to have taken the car into custody.
