The actress Sherlyn Chopra accused Raj Kundra of sexual misconduct and made multiple accusation against Raj Kundra. The actress also filed a sexual assault complaint against Raj Kundra. She said to have previously appeared before the Mumbai Crime Branch’s Property Cell to record her statement in the case. She also said that he kissed her when he arrived in her house without prior information and landed over an argument related to a text message. She further says that Kundra said to her that his relationship with wife Shilpa Shetty was complicated and was stressed at home.

Recently Shilpa praised Rani Laxmi Bai in her dance reality show, to which Sherlyn questioned that she wants to know whether Shilpa truly have any any sympathy for the accused victims in Raj Kundra’s pornography case. Reportedly, Sherlyn says, “You expressed that you bow down to all those women who bravely face all the challenges of life, does that also include those helpless victims who courageously recorded their statements at different police stations?” she further says, “These days whenever I post anything on social media, your followers troll me saying that my pictures are photoshopped. But let me tell you that all the investigating agencies of the country are much educated than you, me and your followers. They know how to get into the details. Also, a few days ago I read you post about faith, which made me feel very good. I feel that belief is such a powerful force that it can spread light even in the most hopeless situations. I request you, that being a female, please show some sympathy towards all those helpless girls, who have been urging for justice. They have complete faith in the law of the land.”

Sherlyn Chopra will now be summoned by the crime branch on Friday. The actress was asked to appear before the crime branch for an interrogation round related to the Raj Kundra pornography case.

In a tweet, ANI revealed, “Property Cell of Mumbai Police Crime Branch has summoned actress Sherlyn Chopra asking her to appear before it for questioning today in connection with the porn film production case in which businessman Raj Kundra was arrested,” Mumbai Police.

On Thursday, Director of Armsprime Media Private Limited Saurabh Kushwaha was summoned for questioning by the Property Cell of Mumbai Crime Branch.

Bombay Session Court on Thursday said it will hear the bail application of businessman Raj Kundra and his colleague Ryan Thorpe on August 10. Both are currently in judicial custody. According to reports, the Bombay High Court on August 02, reserved its order on petitions filed by Raj Kundra and his associate Ryan Thorpe challenging their arrest in a case in connection with the pornography racket case.

During the hearing, police revealed that they found 68 X-rated videos on Raj Kundra’s laptop. Other than that, police also found a script with sexual content on his laptop. On July 25, the crime branch also revealed that four of Raj Kundra’s employees had turned into witnesses against him.

Kundra has been named as a key conspirator by the Mumbai Police and is currently booked under the following: Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292, and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in addition to relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.

Sherlyn Chopra is known to be the first Indian actress and model to pose nude for Playboy magazine which was released two years later. On the other side Poonam Pandey is best known for her nude portrayal on online platforms. Both the actress of adult film industry alleged that it was Raj Kundra whop forced them to get into this industry.

Earlier in 2019, Poonam Pandey filed a case against Raj Kundra for allegedly making her number public spoke on the current controversy. She said “At this moment my heart goes out to Shilpa Shetty and her kids. I can’t imagine what she must be going through. So, I refuse to use this opportunity to highlight my trauma.”

Reportedly, Poonam was in touch with Armsprime Media which was owned by Raj Kundra, and his firm took care of an adult app. Though the contract between both of them ended eight months ago, he desperately started using Pandey’s content, for which Poonam filed a case against him on Bombay Court. In reply to this Raj Kundra and his associate denied all the allegations against them.

Both the actresses made Kundra responsible for their entry into the adult film industry and it was also revealed that Sherlyn Chopra was paid 30lakh for each project.

On an interaction with a Mumbai Police commissioner, he said, “Businessman Raj Kundra has been arrested by the Crime Branch in a case relating to the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps. He appears to be the key conspirator. We have sufficient evidence regarding this. We have arrested Raj Kundra in this case on July 19, 2021, as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidence regarding this. The investigation is in progress, please.”

Though Shilpa Shetty who tied knot with Raj Kundra in the year 2009 chooses to remain quiet in the matter.
