The ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ actress said she was struck by how unpredictable life is and experienced a strange feeling after the Balika Vadhu actor’s death. In an earlier video, Jasleen had spoken about working with Sidharth Shukla in the series Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and described him as ‘calm and composed’. Now, again this singer-actress has taken to Instagram to share a video of herself lying on a hospital bed with an IV drip fixed on her arms.

In this IGTV video, she is seen expressing, “That day when Sidharth had died and when I went to his family’s house. After listening to the news and looking at the atmosphere in their house, meeting Shehnaaz and aunty (Sidharth’s mother), when I came home, I read messages such as ‘Tum bhi mar jao’. This was the first time in my life I was so affected by such messages.”

“I thought to myself – how unpredictable is life, everything feels so strange. I don’t know what happened but I had a temperature (103 degrees) yesterday and I had to be hospitalised. Take care of yourself and pray that I, too, get well soon,” she concluded. Watch the video here :

Sidharth Shukla died on September 2 after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest. His last rites were performed on September 3 and were attended by numerous celebrities like Shehnaaz Gill, Karanveer Bohra, Rahul Vaidya, Disha Parmar, Rahul Mahajan, Asim Riaz, Aly Goni, Arti Singh among others.

Sidharth, undoubtedly had an immense fan following. After this news broke out, Sidharth trended for days on the internet and his fans aren’t still stable mentally. One of the fan pages shared about the loss of his fan who couldn’t bear the pain and passed away the same day.

Some of those who are convinced are unable to bear the shock. When this wasn’t enough, one more such news has come to the fore. One of Shukla’s fans has slipped into a partial coma after hearing the news of his untimely death aged just 40. A doctor has shared this information on Twitter, later retweeting “Guys, talk to your family & friends, dont stay alone, one of the SidNaaz fan is hospitalized last night as found unconscious in washroom… Kindly take care of yourself… Pray for her…!!” Read the original tweet here :

Sidharth was best known for his stints in ‘Balika Vadhu’ and ‘Bigg Boss’. Multiple personalities including Varun Dhawan showed up at his funeral depicting how loved he was in his industry as well. Fans are still tweeting support and concern for each other as well as for Shehnaaz Gill who seemed the most affected after his own family. With this loss the most affected people are his mother Rita Shukla and rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill. Report in BollywoodLife suggests that Shehnaaz and Sidharth were engaged and planning to tie the knot by the end of this year in December. The two families were preparing for the film in full joy. The reports read, “They had informed their families who were deep into preparations. Not just this, they were also in talks with a plush Mumbai hotel to book rooms, banquet and other services for the wedding festivities which were planned for a period of three days. The two actors, their friends, and families had kept this a closely guarded secret.”

In an interview with ETimes, Abu Malik the former participant of bigg boss said, “Shehnaaz told me this on March 22, 2020 – I think that this was just a day before the first lockdown.” The music composer had stayed with Shehnaz and Sidharth under the same roof in bigg boss and knew them really well, he also added, “Sidharth used to love her a lot. He would say that agar ek din woh naaraz ho jaati thi, toh uska din kharaab ho jaata tha.”
These reports clearly state why Shehnaz participated in the last rites of this late actor.

Shehbaz has been a constant support after Sidharth’s tragic demise. He has not left his sister or Sidharth’s family alone and was constantly seen supporting them during the cremation of the late actor. He flew directly to Mumbai as soon as he came to know about the actor’s sudden  death and he did this for his sister and Sidharth’s family.  Shehbaz along with Shehnaaz’s parents stood there as shoulder to them.

Jasleen Mathur ex- bigg boss contestant spoke about Shehnaaz and Shehbaz’s gesture in this sensitive situation, said, “She was just sitting at a place, blank, nothing to say, lost in her world. I went up to her, tried talking but all she asked me to do was to sit next to her. I saw how disturbed she was and asked her to sleep. Exhausted, she fell off to sleep. I met her brother, Shehbaaz who is thankfully there for and with her in this grim hour. He will take good care of Shehnaaz, I am sure.”

singer-actor Jasleen Matharu did not share a close bond with the late actor but shared some very good moments during Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, which also featured Shehnaaz Gill. She says that it was too early for him to leave and being a well-wisher she thought that it was her duty to be there to pay her condolences to his family.

Commenting on Shehnaaz Gill’s reactions, she said to the media, “Shehnaaz had a blank look on her face. I don’t think she was conscious of what was going around. She seemed lost. As I went to her, I remember she asked me to sit beside her. Shehnaaz was completely exhausted and emotionally drained,” She further says that Sidharth’s mother and sister is also passing a hard time.

Recalling the time that they spent together in sets, she says, “We did not get a lot of time together but he was so cool and calm on set. Also, he was a thorough professional and so talented. I think he deserved every bit of love that he got because of his dedication to his craft. We really wanted to see more of him. It wasn’t his time to go.”

A report says, “Shehnaaz told the police that she tried desperately to wake up Sidharth. His head was in her lap. But his body had turned cold. That’s when Shehnaaz realised he was gone. Much before they reached Cooper Hospital.”

Earlier, Shehnaaz’s father also confirmed to media about how pale she turned after the death of Sidharth Shukla. He said, “I spoke to her. She is not fine. My son Shehbaaz has left for Mumbai to be with her and I will be going later. I am not in the condition to talk right now. I cannot believe whatever has happened.”

After the actor’s demise many visited his residence to pay respect to him and condolences to the family. Amongst the friends of late actor was Rahul Mahajan who was really close to him in the Bigg Boss house and looked upon him and aspired to become like him one day. When asked about Gill, he said that actress Shehnaaz Gill, close friend and rumoured girlfriend of Sidharth, has completely turned pale. Shehnaaz Gill has gone pale like a storm had passed away and washed away everything said the late actors friend. He further added that Sidharth’s mother Rita Shukla was strong but had tears in her eyes. Rita Shukla said, “Death was obvious but it shouldn’t have happened so soon.”

After the actor’s demise his close friend and gym trainer Sonu Chourasia, has opened up about Sidharth’s fitness regime. Sonu has refused to all the news of Shukla overexerting himself and stated that fitness was his way of life, he also said that Sidharth was against crash diet and rather followed a very healthy lifestyle.

While talking to Times of India, Sonu said, “Overexertion happens to only those who are irregular in their fitness training, for Sidharth it was his way of life and was totally involved in it. Unlike those who often followed trends when it comes to diet he was against any kind of crash diet and loved home-cooked food especially prepared by his mother.”
All these clearly stated that Sidharth was really fond of eating simple homemade food and his workout sessions acquired weight training in the morning and cardio in the evening.

Sonu mentioned that he met Sidharth on the 24th of August before leaving for Bhopal. He said, Sidharth had an ankle injury and so he was taking medicines for that. “This was about two months ago and he took a break of 15 days as the doctors told him not to exert his feet. And that time he did tell me that his stomach had begun bloating because of the steroids and had to do something about it,” said the trainer.

On 2nd of September after an inconvenient feeling in the body and a slight ache somewhere near chest, Shukla fell asleep, little, did he know he would never wake up after that sleep?

Loved ones, mother, sister and close friends are greatly affected by the sudden demise . Actor who was expected to set the television screens on fire with his guest appearances and shows. Right now Sidharth and Shehnaz together were at the peak of their career and there were rumours of the two dating each other after Bigg Boss 13.

The nation is currently thinking about Shehnaz, together the two were called SidNaz. The two were seen together most of the times and called each other close friend and a family. Shehnaaz made sure she stood by Sidharth when he breathed his last. Since yesterday she had been untraceable and her father quoted, “She is not fine.” The actress was seen on the last journey with the late actor, as his body was taken to the crematorium. The actress was visibly inconsolable as she was spotted leaving the crematorium after the last rites with her brother Shahbaaz. Brother stood by his sister since yesterday because Shehnaaz has turned pale and just can’t stop crying.

Shehnaaz had sprinted to the hospital with Sidharth Shukla and mother Rita Shukla on 2nd September in the morning when the actor had suffered from heart attack and succumbed to it. Little did she know that Sidharth Shukla was no more, or the two ladies were expecting him to be alive.

The late actor’s sister was devastated last year after her brother suddenly committed suicide and his death case was dragged all across, that actor even after 1 year has received no justice. The actor’s sister felt hurt on knowing that Sidharth Shukla too passed away at such a young age. Shweta took to her social media and wrote, “You will be missed Siddharth, gone too soon. Hope your soul rests in peace. I wonder, why God calls all the good ones early!”

Shweta shared pictures of Shukla and prayed to God that he gives him peace. She remembered her brother when she wrote that God calls all the good people early. The sister has not forgotten her brother and misses him every day.
