On Thursday, Tapsee Pannu announced that she will be running a production house and will continue to back quality content under her banner titled Outsiders Films. The actress had already spent a decade of her career in the industry. She said, “I have been very sure that direction is not my cup of tea. Production was something I thought I could pull off. Being an actor, I love to act, I couldn’t divert my attention and focus to something else when I am on a set. So the day when I have a partner who could handle the groundwork, while I concentrate on my acting job, is when I would partner with and then start production. That’s when Pranjal came in”

Regarding the name of her production house, Tapsee said, “Pranjal and I both come from humble backgrounds that’s when the name Outsiders Films clicked with us. We aim to produce meaningful, entertaining, and quality content.”

Tapsee’s main aim to open this production house is to give a breakthrough to the candidate who has talents and belongs completely from a different background.

According to the information received, the first film that will be produced by “Outsider film” will be a thriller.

Tapsee posted on her social media account a logo of her production house, which she captioned as, “Last year when it was almost a decade since I plunged into the dream this Indian Film Industry is, I never knew I will not just float but actually learn to swim my way through.”

The actress who made her debut with noted director K Raghavendra Rao’s 2010 Telugu romantic musical Jhummandi Naadam also owns a wedding planning company and a badminton team named ‘7 Aces Pune’.
