“Some good news: we’ve made updates to improve video quality. Starting today, videos you upload to Twitter will appear less pixilated for a better watching experience,” Twitter said.

As per report by Verge, Twitter has stated that it removed a pre-processing step in its video pipeline while uploading video. The company says that it removed the step of spiting video into smaller chunks for ingestion which may contribute to the loss in quality.

Twitter is also working on other features and elements to improve the overall experience of the service. The company announced via a tweet on its official support account that it is making certain changes that would prevent tweets from disappearing while being read.

Twitter says that it plans to roll out updates to fix the issue over the next two months. “We know its frustrating experience, so we’re working on changing it,” Twitter said while commenting on the issue.

The San Francisco Company said the proposed settlement, which must still be signed off by a judge, resolves all claims against Twitter admitting any wrongdoing. The original lawsuit filed in 2016 by Twitter in 2016 by Twitter investors Doris Shenwick claimed that Twitter executives “knowingly made inaccurate public statements regarding these metrics, and failed to disclose internal information about them, resulting in an inflated share price that fell when the truth about user engagement became known.”

The company said it plans to use cash on hand to pay the settlement in the fourth quarter of 2021. It expects to record a one-time charge as a result.

According to the lawsuit, in 2014 Twitter said that the site’s monthly average user base was expected to increase significantly to “to over 550 million” in the intermediate-term and “over a billion” over the longer term.

In 2019, Twitter stopped reporting monthly user figures. At last count that spring, that number was at 330 million. Now, Twitter reports only daily user figures.

And in 2017, Twitter said it had been overstating its monthly user numbers by mistake because it was including users of a third-party app it should not have.

With a cast that has an amazing acting experience and face value, the film makers could have made the movie a lot better. The film opens up on a promising note with the dark and subtle look, but as the scenes pass things start becoming monotonous. Once after the film takes up its routine, it becomes tough for the topnotch actors Amitabh Bachchan, Emhraan Hashmi and Anu Kapoor to lift the story with their acting skills.

However the best part of the film is that it would let all enjoy the hindi literature, as it has too many shayris in the film. Moreover there is a 7 minutes long monologue by Big B which touches all the important topics from the Nirbhaya rape case and the plight of acid attack victims to the Uri surgical strikes and Indo-Pak tensions. For this the actor is appreciated and loved by audiences and critics.

The look of the film is good and the presentation of actors are A Class with the sequences between Bacchan and Hashmi. The punjabi accent and hints of Anu Kapoor has vibed well with the scenes and debt actress Krystal D’Souza has showed that she was not a wrong choice.

Before the film released Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, “T 4009 – Had a great time discussing the memories from the sets of #Chehre! Waiting for you to watch the film on 27th August in theatres with your friends and family”

Today before the film released, Emhraan Hashmi along with a poster of the film tweeted, “#Chehre releasing worldwide from today !!!”
With a bag of mixed reviews Twitter is calling for a room of disagreement on how the movie actually is.

Film Critic Sumit Kadel gave the film 3 stars and tweeted, “Despite a superb star cast,film fails miserably to provide edge of the seat thrills. First half is decent but stretched & over dramatic 2nd half, specially the climax plays the villian in chehre. Intriguing script & screenplay could’ve saved the film from sinking.” He gave, 1.5 stars to Direction, Music and Story of the film and 3.5 to acting and cinematography. And ended the review with 2 points to dialogues.

On the other hand, film Critic Taran Adarsh, wrote, “#OneWordReview… #CHEHRE: ENGROSSING. Rating: ½ Captivating screenplay + wonderful performances by the principal cast makes #Chehre an interesting watch… Director #RumyJafry – associated with comedies – springs a pleasant surprise with a dramatic thriller. #ChehreReview”

After the disagreement of reviews, the film cannot be called a courtroom thriller as it is no way close to Bachchan’s film “Pink” but it can be called an attempt by Rumi Jafry.

Kangana has quite frequently used her social media to raise her voice. She recently misused her platforms to lash out. She was banished from Twitter for violating the platform’s Hateful Conduct policy and Abusive Behaviour policy. Since then, she has been extremely active on Instagram but predicted that she would soon be removed from there as well.

Via her Instagram stories Kangana shared,  “Last night I got an Instagram alert as someone tried to hack my account in China, the alert disappeared suddenly, and this morning all my stories about the Taliban have disappeared. My account was disabled. After calling Instagram people I could access it, but as I try to write I am getting logged out of my account again and again.”

She further added: “Took my sister’s phone to do this story as she has my account open on her phone as well. This is a very big international conspiracy… Unbelievable.”

After being cancelled from Twitter, Kangana mocked the platform for promoting freedom of speech. In an Instagram Story in May, she wrote, “Poor Twitter begging for the freedom of speech, Twitter the great, the unelected member of parliament, supreme justice of the world, keeper of the moral compass of humanity and what are their basic qualifications or credentials to ask or forcefully acquire this power? Who are they?”

According to a PTI report, a man was arrested for casteist remarks against the family of Vandana Katariya, who was part of the Indian women’s hockey team. Post this incident, many people took to social media to condemn the issue. Azad Samaj Party’s spokesperson Suraj Kumar Bauddh penned a letter to the Olympic Committee on caste discrimination with Oly star Vandana Katariya.

Swara Bhasker reacted to the tweet and said, “We shouldn’t need the #Olympics committee to tell us to take care of our fellow citizens and sportspeople! Shameful what has happened to #VandanaKatariya .. we are a diseased society.”

This led to a social media feud between Suraj and Swara. Suraj responded to Swara’s tweet with,
“After my letter to the Olympic Committee on Caste Discrimination with Oly star Vandana Katariya, Swara Bhasker came out in support of her caste termites kith and kin. Says, “it’s our internal matter.” How clever are the savarna liberals! #CrushTheCaste”

Swara responded to this with, “Relax buddy! Read my tweet again. Literally, I have not even used the words “internal matter”.. Pls don’t twist my tweet to suit whatever it is you are trying to accuse me of.”

After this, the actress started receiving a lot of backlash. Swara decided to respond to the hate with, “I think you guys are misunderstanding my tweet completely. I’m simply saying it shouldn’t have come to this. You shouldn’t have in the first place needed to write to an international organisation.. our own govt. should take cognisance and provide support to Vandana. That’s all!”

Actor Farhan Akhtar also decided to congratulate the team via his tweet. But his one blunder has now changed the focus of citizens into trolling him.

Farah Akhtar took to his Twitter account to congratulate the Indian men’s hockey team for their glorious win. Instead, cheered for the women’s team.

This modern day actress recently lost her father as he suffered from cardiac arrest. She was in Kashmir when this happened. “I am not in a state of mind to speak. The more you think about it, the more it pains,” Hina Khan told Hindustan Times in an exclusive chat.

As the case of cheating continues, the problems are not ending anywhere close for the Kundra couple. Markets Regulator SEBI has penalized Viaan Industries Ltd. for disclosure lapses and consequent violation of insider trading norms. And being the promoters of Viaan industry, Shilpa and Raj are supposed to pay a fine of Rupees 3 Lakhs according to the order of the SEBI. “It is on record that the relevant disclosures under the PIT Regulations were made by the Noticees with a delay of more than three years,” SEBI made a note. “Therefore, considering these facts and circumstances, I hold that this case deserves imposition of monetary penalty upon the Noticees,” said adjudicating officer Suresh B Menon.
