According to reports, Gehana claimed that the team of cops who came to arrest demanded a bribe to avert the arrest and even threatened to frame her in the case. The actress said that cops wanted money to release her, but when she denied they said that “they could make any case against anyone”. 

She also addressed the screenshots of the chat between Yash Thakur and Tanveer Hashmi’s conversation about the arrangement of Rs 8 lakhs. To this, she added, the money arranged was also demanded by the police.

Vasisth was arrested in February 2021. She was behind bars for more than four months. 

The actress has now applied for pre-arrest anticipatory bail, which will be heard at the Dindoshi court on Tuesday. Her lawyer Sunil Kumar confirmed the development, adding, We have moved the court for pre-arrest anticipatory bail as there was a chance that she would have been arrested by the police.”

In a conversation with ETimes, the actress said, “I will not be going to the police as you know the last time the police gave out wrong details about how my arrest took place. I am waiting for a copy of my charge sheet to tell the world about the misinformation given to the media in my case.”

Gehana expressed her fear about getting framed into the case by the police. She added that this will only prevent her from exposing the reality of the content being made which was nothing but porn.
