Bolllywood film director Abhinay Deo dismayed at Imran Khan’s decision to quit acting

There here have been many changes in Bollywood since Abhinay Deo’s “Delhi Berry” struck the theater more than a decade ago. One of them was stopped by his leading actor, Imran Khan.

In a chat with ‘Etimes’, director shared his thoughts on the possibility of “very talented” stars finding new creative outlets and working with them again.

Imran Khan is leaving Bollywood. Abhinay Deo said, “He Called for Direction Instead of Acting”.

Abhinay Deo added, “I would definitely love to work with Imran again. After ‘Deli Belly’ there were a few feature films that I offered him as an actor”.

In support of Imran and his decision to pursue filmmaking, he said, “Imran is a trained director. I personally don’t need only one channel for a person’s talent to come out. I feel. To make his technique justice, then so. We should welcome any form of his talent”.

Deo didn’t confirm the possibility of a sequel, but he said, “I’m definitely looking forward to the entire’Delhi Berry’team working together again.”

Imran, who made his debut in 2008 with “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na,” was finally seen on the big screen in 2015 with “Katti Batti” starring Kangana Ranaut.
